Our Mission

Veterans in Command has been a 501c3 non-profit organization since 2012.  Our mission in Veteran In Command is to provide alternative community settings for homeless veterans and other transitional groups. It is our commitment to provide the kind of housing that we would live in ourselves.  Our goal is to help those we serve to reintegrate into society by building their self-esteem and becoming more productive. We do this through different social services by providing physical and mental health care and providing workforce development that includes career and job placement after the training program. Assisting homelessness is the ultimate completion of our work with each individual. We believe we have to improve the homeless system available at present up to its potential. Veteran in Command recognizes the necessary improvements needed in this field. We are committed to working towards a productive solution to enhance the quality of life for the individuals we serve. We understand that we have to help the less fortunate to the best of our ability for our society as a whole. Every one of us matters; we vow to prove a better society is possible.
